Monochrome!

I was perusing through my work over the past couple of days and revisited some shots. At the time I didn't know what to do with at them, from a "post production" point of view. I discovered that when I did get round to edit them, I usually converted them to black and white.

I don't know why I love black and white images so much, I think it's the elegance, drama and depth a monochrome image brings. I do spend a lot of time on my conversions, but the results can be amazing! I think that's why they're my favourite type of image to produce.

Spot Colour!

One of the shots from Lynsey and Sam's wedding, patients is needed to get the colour back in a monochrome converstion. But the results are worth it.

The wedding took place at St Helens Church in Etwal, Derbyshire.

Latest Wedding!

Lynsey (pictured) and Sam, the latest people I've taken shots for, wedding wise. The church was St Helen's in Etwall Derbyshire, then to Horsley Lodge for the reception.

Excellent day for photos, not too sunny and not so hot that it made them bake lol.

The pics aren't up yet (at the time of writing this) but will be in the next day or so.

Something Different!

I like to try and get a different perspective of events, things you wouldn't normally pay any attention to.
I took this shot, to show off the detail on the lady's hand and to capture what people were doing at the time the bride and groom were busy..... being the bride and groom lol :o)

DRAMA!!!

This image was taken at Eggington church, the sky had some funky clouds and the detail in the brick work added great texture to the image. It deserved this dramatic black and white conversion (my personal favourite style of image) but I decided to keep the couple in colour.
